How about we start with my egotistical fear. I guess you can tell by Oprah’s words that my biggest fear in this class is failing; pretty vain, I know. This, however, is my only fear for this class, and rightfully so it’s because I suck at using computers for anything other than facebook and sites that interest me. My hope for this class sort of ties into my fear because my hope is that I learn to correctly do all the activities and assignments for this class so that I can, one, broaden my knowledge and experience in digital humanities and two, actually stay awake in class because it’s so late, I might actually fall asleep, mentally convincing myself that it is past my bedtime. Lastly, let me tell you my dream. Ah! The sweet, beautiful, and blissful feeling of passing a class with a 100 %; something I haven’t accomplished since high school. That is my true dream for this class because that would boost my ego and of course my GPA, lol! All in all, I’m looking forward to this class and I’m sure it will be both fun and educational.
